Steps needed to install Lacerte on RDS

Application is installed on RDS and is accessable by end users

On RDS02, login as domain admin

Download installer and prep file from Intuit website https://centrexit.1password.com/app#/OY633QWYKFCCDE3XJ54M55NRQU/Search/OY633QWYKFCCDE3XJ54M55NRQU:forbsrmoavsyamr32lpbqan5ye:yfiinx5h5k467ak2mqetfdhcoi?itemListId=intuit

Create folder on C Drive and name it Lacerte 202X (what ever year it is and put the installer and prep file in that folder and run from there).

Select 960527761 - LEGACY PARK ADVISORS firm when going through installation.

Once the application is installed we need to “publish” it for it to appear as a remoteapp.

Select default options and continue without hosting.

It will require a restart of the RDS, schedule that after hours.

The first time you launch it have a meeting with Phil to walk through each of the modules to point to the data location on the file server.
