- Log into the mgmt PC for FSA
- Open a browser and navigate to konicanew:9191/admin
- Select the printer that is having the issue Devices > Printer
- Scroll down to device status
- If papercut is working properly then the device status will say ‘Started’
- If there is an error code like ‘Error: changeAuthenticationSetting: error=8, message=Not exist static screen’. Proceed with the following troubleshooting steps
- Scroll up and select ‘Advanced Config’
- Search for ‘over’ and change the two values to ‘Y’
- Search for ‘force’ and change the ‘force-app-registration’ key to ‘Y’
- Hit update all
- Check on the device status and see if it changes to ‘Started’
- If it does, go ahead and change the keys back to their default values
