Before a device is issued to a new user it needs to go through an Autopilot Reset. This can be done when the previous user turns the device in or just before issuing it to the new user.

1. Log into the 365 admin panel.
2. Go to the “Endpoint Manager” panel.
3. All devices > Windows Devices > Select the device.
4. Click “Autopilot Reset”. Note that the reset will start if the device is currently powered on and connected to the internet, otherwise it will happen the next time the device checks in. If the device is going to be issued to a new user immediately ask the requestor to connect the device and allow a day for the reset before issuing.
