.Make sure latest version of Athena Device Manager is installed. MSI can be found after log into Athena. Use end user account or vITM account to update.

.Select “Cog” Icon and navigate to “Device Management” and select the “Install & Update” Tab.

.Install latest version of “Athena Device Manger” (ADM)

.Select “Devices” tab and make sure “ADM” shows connected.

.Next Install the driver for the Ambir brand scanner and installAmbir Scan for Athena

.1.     Finally, the scan settings should remain default. Only difference is Auto-Scan vs not Auto-Scan. The older small form factor scanners support the Auto-Scan feature. The new 820ix models do not.

.1.     The scanner should scan directly into Athena. Ambir Scan for Athena should be running in the background for this to function properly. Please have the end user confirm this workflow.
