Time can also be captured for the stories that are worked on by the Halo development team. Time is captured for both the options for Work effort planned and Work effort actual.

When a story is created, the person it’s assigned to will set the Work effort planned to the amount of time they think it will take to complete the issue or request. This is done by clicking the pencil icon on that line, which will then display the drop-down menu. The owner can then select the option that most closely matches their time estimate.

Once the story item has been completed, the owner will then complete the same process for Work effort actual, which documents how much time the story took to complete.
