*NOTE*

Scott had some issues with the sync to AureAD on the users’ computers. Some kind of error about failing to initiate. To remedy this, he had to perform these next steps.

12. Unassign the above licenses, assign a Microsoft 365 Business Premium license, wait for it to sync up on the backend

13. Sync with AzureAD again

14. Once the first sync completes, go back and unassign the Business Premium license and reassign the Business Standard and Defender licenses.

*NOTE* Sync should have no issues after this step, but now there will be some changes needing to be made to the registry on the computer side

15. Delete the registry key for shared computers or the employees assigned with a Standard License will not be able to license MS Office products.

               a. Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun\Configuration
