Section titled “Pre-Req”- Login to M365
- Verify there is an available M365 Premium license for the new account
- Message DQ or a Team Lead if a license needs to be added.
- Once new license has been added to M365 continue with creating the new user
M365 Admin Center
Section titled “M365 Admin Center”- Login M365
- Create the requested user account
- Put in all the required information for the user account.
- Frist Name\Last Name\Display Name
- UPN Requirement: firstname@pboadvisory.com
- Check all 3 boxes
- Automatically create a password
- Require the user to change their password when they first sign in
- Send password in email upon completion
- This should be sent to the POC who put in the ticket
- Click Next
- License the users account with a M365 Business Premium license
- Once the account is licensed click next
- Put in the required information for the account (If there is any other info ie: Office phone, Fax number, Mobile number, etc. Please this as well.)
- Title
- Department
- Manager
- Click next, and review all the setting for the new user account, and verify all requirements are correct
- Once reviewed click “Finish adding” Check generate random password
- Once user account has been created add user to the following Groups:
- team@pboadvisory.com
- BullPhishing - Please confirm that user is in fact in the BullPhish Security group - seeing users not receiving the Security Awareness Training
- Add any other groups requested on the on-boarding form.
