Issue: When trying to open PowerPoint, Excel, or Word from a shared file source, you get an environment or permissions issue.

Cause: 64-bit Office Suite was originally installed and then 32 bit was installed after. This is usually done when a computer needs 32-bit Office for a legacy application.

Fix:

1. Open up regedit on the computer having the issues.
2. Backup the registry to your computer.
3. Find and delete the following registry keys:
4. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{84F66100-FF7C-4fb4-B0C0-02CD7FB668FE}
5. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{65235197-874B-4A07-BDC5-E65EA825B718}
6. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00020827-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
7. Restart the computer
8. Test the issue to confirm resolution
