PROCEDURE

General procedures to help troubleshoot issues with WP’s NEOPOST IN300 Mail Meter.

  • cIT’s Responsibility
  • Device has a static IP and internet connectivity
  • Network is configured to allow external communication to vendor’s services
  • Vendor: Quadient (Reference ITSM Vendor Contact for Quadient)
  • Hardware issues
  • External connectivity issues
  • Diagnosing Error codes

REQUIREMENTS

  • Onsite tech or working with one of the WP’s local POCs

STEPS

Obtaining Mail Meter IP address

  1. Press Menu
  2. Press number 13
  3. Click OK on Supervisor
  4. Supervisor Pin Code: 09430
  5. Select Diagnostics
  6. Select IPConfig
  7. Click OK

Obtaining MAC address info

  1. Press Menu
  2. Press number 13
  3. Click OK on Supervisor
  4. Supervisor Pin Code: 09430
  5. Select Communication Settings
  6. Internet/LAN
  7. Press OK on auto
  8. Press OK on Half
  9. This should display the MAC address.
