General procedures to help troubleshoot issues with WP’s NEOPOST IN300 Mail Meter.
- cIT’s Responsibility
- Device has a static IP and internet connectivity
- Network is configured to allow external communication to vendor’s services
- Vendor: Quadient (Reference ITSM Vendor Contact for Quadient)
- Hardware issues
- External connectivity issues
- Diagnosing Error codes
REQUIREMENTS
- Onsite tech or working with one of the WP’s local POCs
STEPS
Obtaining Mail Meter IP address
- Press Menu
- Press number 13
- Click OK on Supervisor
- Supervisor Pin Code: 09430
- Select Diagnostics
- Select IPConfig
- Click OK
Obtaining MAC address info
- Press Menu
- Press number 13
- Click OK on Supervisor
- Supervisor Pin Code: 09430
- Select Communication Settings
- Internet/LAN
- Press OK on auto
- Press OK on Half
- This should display the MAC address.
