PROCEDURE
Procedures to follow if an End-User is having problems printing from Jonas Cloud.
REQUIREMENTS
Passwordstate > Websites > Jonas Portal
STEPS
- Reset the Default PDF Reader (Depending on the user ask them which software they use):
- Adobe Reader DC/Pro: Open Adobe > Edit > Preferences > General on left options and scroll down to set as default).
- Bluebeam
- Open your control panel by clicking “Start” and then “Control Panel.” Click on the “Programs” link in the control panel.
- Click the “Make a file type always open in a specific program” link in the “Default programs” header.
- Find “PDF” in the list of file extensions in the “Set Associations” window. Click on it once you have found it.
- Click “Change Program” and then click “Browse.”
- Find and select Bluebeam and click the “Ok” button. This will save your settings.
- Open “printmanagement.msc” as an admin
- Select the Printer > go to Properties by right clicking on it > go to the Advanced tab and change spooling to “Start printing after last page is spooled”.
- Have the user go back to Jonas and open the Print Form. Resave the File.
- IMPORTANT: Never save the .xml file from the file options.
- NOTE: This must be done inside Jonas Cloud. If you cannot help the user perform this step a ticket will need to be opened with Jonas. (Reference Requirements Section)
- Log out completely from Jonas and login again. Try a test print and printing should work properly.
- NOTE: If Still unsuccessful printing, please open a ticket with Jonas for the user. (Reference Requirements Section)
