PROCEDURE

REQUIREMENTS
Computer is connected to the Western Pump network (F or E Street Sites) or VPN and the End-User has a Western Pump AD account on wp.local

N-Central/Screen Connect > Western Pump > WP-DC01
N-Central/Screen Connect > Western Pump > WESTERNPUMP-JONAS
STEPS
- Cache End-User’s credentials on WESTERNPUMP-JONAS (Reference Requirements Section)
- Logout of End-User’s profile
- Login to Local Admin account
- Copy the C:\Users\ jonasservice\gjcwin folder and paste it into the newly created network user’s folder (eg C:\Users\[EndUserName]\)
- NOTE: copied contents of gjcwin folder must be present in the User’s folder on the Jonas Server or they will get an error when trying to login to the Jonas Management Shortcut below.
- Logout of Jonas Server.
- Connect or VPN to Western Pump’s network on End-User’s computer (reference KB00002065)
- On users \Desktop, create/save an RDP shortcut to the Jonas Server pointing to 74.121.192.186
- Make sure the RDP shortcut is using the user’s wp.local AD username (eg wp\jdoe)
- Login to the Jonas Server to create the user’s network login.
- Test Jonas Management Shortcut on \Desktop to confirm it is working
- NOTE: Jonas access includes access to Digio and Dispatch Board
