10.20.55.11 is for the phone numbers

10.20.55.12 is for VM and will not working without corresponding phone in .11

Phones need to have a line and always has to have Line 1 active even with other extensions on the device.

Take note of Device Description and MAC

New Phone

1.      Get the MAC Address of the new device (On phone or on the box)

2.      Under devices -> Phone -> add new

3.      Phone type

a.      8841 most common

b.      Dispatch has a different number

4.      Hit next and fill out the fields

a.      MAC Address

b.      Description (Auto Assign change later) Usually assigned to First Name Last Name extension number

1.      Line 1 on Device

a.      Paste description on display ASCII and Line text

Now Line 1 is created.

Part 3:

User Management

1.      Add new user

2.      User AD login as the ID first name last initial

3.      Set default password

4.      Selfservice is the extension

5.      Pin 12345

7.      Display Name: Full name

9.      Telephone number is extension

10.  Click save

Part 4

Back to Device and find phone. Associate the user

1.      Search by contains by extension

2.      Associate the user under Owner

a.      Click find and search for the user

3.      Click on save

4.      Commit and apply config

Part 5

Going to the VM system

1.      Import users

2.      Find user and import selected

3.      Read the status chart

4.      Click into the user and go to edit

a.      Change password

b.      Voicemail pin and set default as the current year

Transferring user name:

Delete the voicemail first if no messages are there

Disassociate the user

1.        End User

2.       Device Associations

3.      Uncheck the boxes

Remove the extension

Delete profile
