  1. Login to DC2
  2. Find the user account and perform the following:
  3. Reset users password
  4. Note down the password. This will be sent to Sandra once off-boarding has been completed (Do not save the password in the ticket)
  5. Disable the account
  6. Force Delta Sync
  1. Find the user account being terminated
  2. Block Sign in
  3. Convert user mailbox to a shared mailbox
  4. Once this is completed grant centrexIT Admin account full access to the mailbox.
  5. Provide access to the terminated users mailbox (Per Off-boarding Request)
  6. Forward emails to the Specified person (Per Off-boarding Request)
  7. Set Auto-Reply for users Mailbox within Exchange Admin Center

Thank you for your email. [first name, last name] is no longer with [name of company] as of [date] and unfortunately can no longer answer your email. Please direct your inquiries to [first name, last name] at [email] or [phone]. He/she will be happy to assist you. Please note that your email will not be forwarded automatically.

  1. Once Auto Reply is set on the mailbox remove access to the centrexIT admin account
  2. Move the user account to the disabled OU in AD
  3. Remove the license from the M365 account
  4. Send a ticket to procurement to remove the license from M365.
  5. Send Sandra an encrypted email with the user’s password.
  6. Confirm with Sandra we can remote into the user’s machine and delete their local profile
