IT Techs: The VPN file can be downloaded from https://maac.centrexcloud.com. Please use the MAAC admin credentials to install it.

NOTE 1: You must be on your home or remote network to get to the VPN site. You will not be able to get to it at MAAC.

NOTE 2: If you need help between the hours of 5 PM – 6 AM, on weekends, or on holidays, you will want to call (619) 651-8787 and leave a voicemail with your name, a callback number, and that you need help with the VPN. Someone from our Helpdesk will call you back to assist.

1. Open the Cisco AnyConnect program on your desktop. It will look like this:

If you don’t see this program on your desktop, go to the search bar on the taskbar and type in Cisco. That should bring up the VPN program. If you’d like to learn how to add the program to your desktop, please see the end of this document.

2. When you open the VPN program, you’ll get a box that looks like this:

Type in the boxmaac.centrexcloud.com

Click Connect.

3. A pop-up box will come up. You will need to enter your username and password there. This is the username and password you use to log into the computer at work.

Click OK.

This will log you into the VPN.

Additional Notes

You can check to see if you’re on the VPN by clicking on the upwards-facing arrow on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

This will bring up a box with a number of different icons in there, including the one for the VPN. If the VPN icon has a padlock on it, you are connected.

If the AnyConnect program isn’t on your desktop, you can add it by doing the following:

1. Go to the search bar on the taskbar and type in Cisco.

2. Right-click on the Cisco AnyConnect program there and select Open File Location. On the page that opens, right-click Cisco AnyConnect again and select Send to and then Desktop. This will put a shortcut for the program on your desktop.
