JGD and Associates — QuickBooks VM for JGD Clients CHESTMED & Corpdirectorsforum

JGD has two clients that they host QuickBooks for. Their clients are:

  • CHESTMED

  • CORP Directors Forum

Each client has their own VM hosted onprem.

  • QB-CHESTMED

  • QB-CORPDIR These VMs are on their own VLAN - VLAN201 192.168.2.0/24.

VLAN201 can communicate to VLAN1 since they need to access the QB company files hosted on the File Server.

These two VMs are only accessible from the VPN.

There is a separate Anyconnect VPN group called jgd-client-vpn.

The VPN subnet is 172.16.2.0/24. This subnet can communicate with VLAN 201 and only DNS servers 192.168.1.10 and .11 on VLAN1.

This VPN group has two local accounts for authentication:

  • Localuser account: CM01

  • Purpose: ChestMed

  • Localuser account: CD01

  • Purpose: CorpDir

  • Credentials for both accounts are in 1Password. These attached work instructions explain how to install the VPN client, connect to the VPN, and RDP to the QB server. Each WI is specific to the client, and is a client-facing document. Feel free to share the PDF with the client.
