Avista Tech – Installing the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client

The purpose of this document is to walk you through the installation process for the Cisco Anyconnect VPN client. We are requesting you install this client in preparation for Avista’s cloud migration in the coming weeks. Instructions on how to connect to the VPN will be sent out closer to the migration date.

Connect to Cisco VPN Website

From your computer, open your internet browser and go to https://avistatech.centrexcloud.com. Type in your Avista Tech username and password and click Login.

Note: Your username should be your first name. If that does not work, try first initial & last name. Example:

Username: john

Or

Username: jdoe

Download and install the VPN Client

Once logged in, click on the Download for Windows button.

The file will download and will be displayed in the bottom left corner of the page. Click on the file to start the install.

Note: If the file is not shown in the bottom left corner, check the Downloads folder.

Click Next.

Select “I Accept the terms in the License Agreemen.t” and click Next.

Click Install

If prompted for User Account Control, click Yes.

Click Finish.

The VPN client install is now finished. You will see the Cisco Anyconnect Secure VPN icon in your start menu.
