Continuous improvement is a core process that helps define and provide the ongoing improvement of products, services, or processes through incremental and breakthrough reviews. The core process encompasses methods from quality management in order to learn from previous successes and failures. All associated articles represent process, procedure, and standards needed to support continuous improvement efforts.

Continuous improvement strives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and increase profits and it reaches across the entire organization. The focus of CI should always follow the PPT Framework: people, process, and technology. There are various tools that can be used to help drive change and improve quality measuring. They include, but are not limited to; Plan, Do, Check, Act. Six Sigma, and Stop/Start/Change.

“Quality First” is a centrexIT culture belief; therefore, continuous improvement and quality assurance is the responsibility of all centrexIT employees. A CI/QA committee is responsible for setting the standards for each review and working with the appropriate process owner or subject matter expert to ensure a periodic review is performed of all documented processes. In the absence of documentation, the Committee will work with process owners to create a process flow and all supporting documents needed to ensure a successful and repeatable outcome from all business processes.
